PROCESS AND TIMING
How does booking work and what happens after I book?
My schedule fills up quickly and I recommend you book your project time with me as soon as possible. You can contact me by filling out this form.
How long will it take?
The sewing time by itself takes approximately two weeks. However, total project time can take longer and is based on availability of your fabric and accessories from distributor and shipping time.
What if I’m not sure what I want?
No problem! I have 11 years of experience consulting clients in the best style, colour, and fabric for their home. Get in touch with photos of your space and we will select a design that you’ll be happy to come home to.
When and how should I contact you?

PRICING AND PAYMENTS
How much will it cost?
While I try to make the project as affordable as possible for you, the investment is largely based on the fabric, quantity of windows and complexity of style you choose. I suggest you get a Free Estimate on your project by filling out the requirements.
What does my investment cover?
All projects include in-depth consultation, sourcing & purchasing of materials (fabric, thread, & any accessories and/or hardware needed), my labour and experience, and packaging. If required, delivery and coordination of installation can be arranged.
How do payments work?
Payments can be made via e-transfer. First payment is due to secure your project dates and covers the expense of all project materials. The rest is due when the project is completed.
What is your guarantee?
Anusual Drapery is committed to providing excellent customer service and quality window coverings. I take great pride in my craftsmanship and work closely with my clients to ensure that the final product matches the agreed upon project scope and requirements.
INSTALLATION
Do you install hardware?
No, I cover project delivery, hanging and provide guidance for installation. If you need hardware installed (i.e. rods, holdbacks), I can recommend a contractor who will help you with this. Upon request, I can work with the contractor to ensure your project is installed correctly.
How long will installation at my home take?
I recommend setting aside two hours to half a day for installation. Time will depend on complexity of project and number of windows.
FIXING, MENDING & SUBSTITUTES
Can you work with my fabric?
In most cases, yes. The fabric type / quality / quantity must be suitable for the style and dimensions you need.
Can you fix or modify curtains that I already have?
It depends. Email me with what you want done and photos of the drapes to discuss. The fabric should be not too old for this to work.

Do you work with interior designers or businesses?
Yes, I welcome orders from designers and businesses.
Do you work with realtors and/or home stagers?
Yes, I’m happy to offer my services to help you sell your client’s house.
Can you help with other home decor projects?
Sure! On occasion, I’ve helped my clients make their decor cohesive with custom table cloths, place settings, and chair covers. Talk to me about your ideas.
